Troy’s journey in the excavating industry began early, shaped by a legacy of expertise passed down from his father, Don Stocker, the founder of Stocker Excavating in Savage, Minnesota. With over a decade of hands-on experience alongside his father, Troy honed his skills before venturing to Arizona, where he expanded his knowledge working with a general contractor.
Returning to his roots in Minnesota in 2016, Troy’s passion for excavating led him to establish North Star Excavating in 2020. His unique blend of experience, spanning both excavation and broader construction expertise, enables him to offer clients not just efficient excavation services, but also practical solutions and invaluable insights garnered from years in the field.
